3000 Series Aluminum Honeycomb
AXAC Commercial Grade Honeycomb is made from 3000 series aluminum foil. It is a lightweight honeycomb core material that offers superior strength and corrosion resistance to meet a broad range of commercial and industrial applications. A chromate conversion protective coating is applied to the foil to provide corrosive atmospheres protection for the finished honeycomb core material. The commercial grade honeycomb is supplied in block, unexpanded slice and expanded honeycomb panel forms. The honeycomb is also available with cell perforations for panel bonding out-gas venting.
