Airex C71

Elevated temperature foam

A unique closed cell, cross-linked polymer foam specially formulated to maintain its stability at higher processing temperatures. With an improved formula that enhances its strength and ductility, it is non-friable, contains no CFC's, and has negligible water absorption. Compatible with most resins, it is ideally suited as a core material for a wide variety of light-weight sandwich structures subjected to both static and dynamic loads, and exposed to elevated temperatures during manufacturing.

• maintains stiffness and strength at elevated temperatures
• dimensionally stable
• low resin absorption (fine cell size)
• highest strength in class
• good impact performance (best elongation in its class)
• high fatigue resistance
• good fire performance (self-extinguishing)
• sound and thermal insulation
• good styrene resistance
